Food and Shopping Spree!

We spent 8 hours shopping and eating. The purpose is to visit Uniqlo to get sis's formal wear, but it turned out to be more than we thought. I met her after work on saturday at Ion and headed to Tampopo at Ngee Ann for Black Pig Shabu Ramen which was heavenly and had the oh-so-yummy scoop cake. On our way back to Ion, we had Sour Sally at Wisma Atria. Sour Sally was definitely the more sour yogurt among other yogurt places, I like it but my heart and taste buds still belong to Yami and Yoguru because Sour Sally taste icier than the two. I prefer my yogurt to be a little more creamy almost like ice-cream. 

The both of us spent at least 2 and a half hours at Uniqlo, picking almost everything, going to the fitting room, calculating our expenses and putting back those we do not need. It was tiring but I can see sis really enjoyed the shopping. Seems like all the food we had before were digested and it's time for dinner. Our wholesome but guilt-free option was Subway, Subway Melt of course. After Subway, I admit I shop-hopped a bit and bought 2 sets of ear accessories from Mitju :P. Just before we head home, we have to get Bonchon Crispy Chicken home for our parents, hoping they will not kill us for spending so much on clothes. Yes, they were speechless when we reached home with our purchases. But hey, once every month or so is really therapeutic. Hahas!

Oh yes, royal wedding fever. Hahaas! Nah, actually I had a tough time deciding which shade of Kanken I wanna purchase. Initially my mind was rather set on the Ice Blue Kanken, but it was out of stock! :(( I'm into lots of blue lately and I thought I already have enough black bags so I should maybe purchase some shade of blue. Navy is great, but royal is different, or so I think.

I just click click away with VPost at Philosophy.com to get my most wanted Amazing Grace EDP (described as the most clean-scented perfume by makeupbymel) and Hope In A Jar Moisturizer (Oprah's Favourite). So many great reviews, I just thought I have to get it! Can't wait for it to arrive although more than a 100 bucks vanished from my bank account. Shall stop the splurge for now. When variable bonus comes, I'll spend on my Acuvue contacts, Kanken Backpack (probably Ice-Blue), Essie Mint Apple Candy and Turquoise & Caicos nail polish, OPI What's with the Cattitude, a new watch, new wallet, Nintendo Wii (!!!) and set asides for vacation, saxophone, parent's allowance, school fees. Spend wisely Huan, spend wisely.

I give myself little treats in order to work hard for my school projects and assignments. Haass, yes, indulge much, but I've been too caught up with school in the past that I don't want to stress myself out anymore. At the same time, I have to be good and remember to save hard. With that said, I've recently come to realize that having one job and one income is really not enough. After I've been through my Managing for Personal Finance class a week ago, apparently I need to be saving a huge sum in order to become a millionaire. I need more passive income. My head is churning ideas now. Saving can only do so much with just a single income, so there's a need for other channels in order to save more. Think think think, girl. Hopefully Eureka! soon. :)

Fjallraven Kanken

I first learnt about this cool daypacks on Blushing Ambition and it just grew on me. However the US website only have 2 colors left and they are definitely cheaper. I'm surprised to find a I Love My Kanken website dedicated to Fjallraven popular product line. However at £49 plus shipping will get to SGD120 which I'm not too ready to commit. I hope Fjallraven quickly stock up! Can't Wait!

    I got to replace a new sim card and was put on the waiting list for a new bb replacement. Yippee!

2. Had a Mac Breakkie cum Lunchie with Double Fortune Fillet Burger
    Woots! The bun bun is so soft and was piping hot! The fillet was yummilicious!

    Hmmm.. nothing much.

    Packed with 70% discount on-goers.. need to get myself out of there.

5. Happy Lemon
    My first try and I fell in love. I asked the guy what is rock salt cheese and he explained that it's the cream above and I asked him for recommendations. He recommended the cocoa for rock salt cheese and for the normal he recommended me the Perilla Lemon Juice which I fell in love with as it was light as a feather, happy as a lemon! Going back for more!

6. Daiso @ Ion
    See my haul above? I had around 30 items in my basket initially and I had to put back things because I promise myself a trip (maybe bali trip and Como Shambhala retreat). So I was a good girl and put back 20 items. I bought 10 items only. Contented with 10 items but I kind of regret not getting the water color palette which was damn good for the price of $2. Got my compact mirror, atomizer, cosmetic container and lip liner. Plus I bought a pair of yummy scissors, storage box, nail buff polisher, stationeries and *giggles* eyelash curler. I tried it at home, can't reach my lashes. LOL.

7. 4 Fingers Bonchon Crispy Chicken
    I thought I should try this already, so I decided to take away a 18-pc mixed with soy garlic and hot flavor. My sister love the soy garlic as she couldn't take the hot one. My mum loves it too! She say it taste like fried pork lard on the drumstick end. Haahsss.. Well, the hot one was yummy too, but I would go for soy garlic as I prefer not-so-spicy food nowadays.

So I wanted to shop more after that, but Ion was getting really crowded at 4pm and I had chicken and daiso haul on my arms so I guess it's time to call for retreat. I'm going to bed soon. Work tmr, sat. zzz.. But I love my Happy Lemon cup so much I want to bring it to work tmr. I'm a Happy Lemon, nitez everyone :))))

Revlon Haul

I was suppose to get a new lipstick but instead I was drawn by the new Revlon Colorburst Lipgloss. I bought mine in the shade of Peony. It did not taste as good as my Make Up Shop coral lipgloss I bought with Pansy at Sasa but it last and the tip of the brush was bendable and so easy to apply. It's pretty pigmented and gives off a sweet shade of pink. However, I have lips that are less pinkish than the average girl, so I prefer to put on a light tint of lip color before applying my lipgloss. I also love how Revlon's packaging is as yummy as it's content. The Colorburst Lipgloss packaging is so luxe like that of a Chanel similarity. Super Big Loves!

Other Revlon products I bought - Lipliner in Pink/Rose which I'm loving it, Eyeliner in Blackberry which I'm still trying to figure it out how to use it??? The lady recommend the one in Blackberry as it will appear more natural.

Lastly, I also bought the new Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara. I'm not comfortable with taking photos of my lashes, but I can honestly see big changes to my lashes. Volume, strength and length! I have also been concern about my barely-there lashes and now I see lashes, that is, I now have lashes! So please, all of you, trust drugstore mascara. They are great! Of course it comes down to one boo boo and that is it tends to get clumpy upon application. But still, I'm all for it. :)))

Previously I've used Rimmel's Lash Accelerator (the last one on the self when I bought it) and I've seen longer lash results. But Revlon's Grow Luscious Mascara is what I need for strong looking lashes.

My next to-buy is going to be Maybelline's Pure Mineral Concealer which I heard it matches and blends well with skintone although I only see two shades offered for this product. I've been using L'oreal True Match for some time. Now being on my second tube, I find concealer an important must have. I wish I can get rid of it or get it out of my life.

I need to take care of my skin. Seriously. I'm breaking out like crazy. Grrr.

I bought Gatsby Ice-type Deodorant and Facial Wipe for dad. I'm sure he'll like. :)

And I just love my new Miffy pen from More Than Words. ;)))
